Sales representative needed for an expanding territory in Weld County!
Job Description:
The Sales Representative for our office is a critical position and is the person responsible for securing new business. This is done by identifying potential business opportunities in the local community and contacting key decision makers, through sales calls, by phone and in-person. Successful people in this role are comfortable contacting and engaging with business people at all levels, selling intangible, critical business services. This requires the ability to use consultative selling techniques (communication skills, questioning and listening techniques, etc.) and the discipline of being persistent while following a daily and weekly plan, with the desire to become a top performing sales professional.
These essential functions will be asked of the selected candidate:
• Maintain a high level of sales activities to secure new accounts.
• Your preparation skills will be used to create daily sales plans identifying companies and offices to visit. By researching the companies and their respective decision makers you will be able to introduce and sell our company’s services to the right industries.
• Maximizing territory performance by developing quarterly sales plans which identify potential new clients and business opportunities.
• Use your research and presentation skills to execute your sales action plans on your top prospects.
• Building relationships with clients will enable you to begin to identify key areas of their business to develop unique selling opportunities for our company’s full range of service capabilities.
• Your communication and relationship skills will not only be vital with the clients you pursue, but with your Express team as well. Maintaining strong relations before and after job orders with Staffing Consultants will ensure client’s needs are met in a timely manner.
Other sales support activities that could be asked of the qualified candidate are as follows:
• Provide manager with suggestions about services and business opportunities.
• Analyze individual accounts to determine potential business and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts.
• Advise appropriate internal staff members about client problems and develop account-specific marketing plans.
These knowledge and skills sets are preferred regarding the Sales Representative position:
• The ability to identify and reach decision-makers through cold calls, research, and networking.
• Self-starters are more successful in this role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are used daily and are a must-have.
• The ability to perform basic computer skills and compose routine correspondence and reports.
• The ability to speak before groups is a highly regarded skill.
• We ask that you’re able to maintain current account information records, prepare necessary reports and provide feedback on a timely basis.
• Any knowledge of federal and state employment laws is helpful, but not required.
Compensation for this position includes a base salary with aggressive commission/incentive opportunities.
