Meet the Owner

In 1974 Kathy Egan walked into a placement firm in Cheyenne, Wyoming.  Four hours later, she had a job. A year later she was working in the office. Covering the office over the lunch hour on her first day, she placed a person into a job and started a career that has lasted over three decades – so far!

In 1976, Kathy bought a company that was to become Express Personnel Services and moved to Greeley, Colorado, to start putting jobs and people together. She says, "It's the thrill of helping both people and companies realize their dreams that has kept me coming into the office every day for over 30 years and will keep me here for many more years."  As the first franchise office of Express, she has watched the company grow to nearly 600 offices that help over 350,000 people in four countries every year.  With her daughter joining the business, Kathy plans to keep walking in the front door, answering the phone to help people and companies succeed.
